Today was the 1st day of camp for the year 2009. For arrival I was outside by the Adventure Door. I basically stood there and opened the door for people and said "Good morning!" and "Have a great day!" About a million times. lol. I got to see a bunch of the kids again at arrival, (Rachel, Stephanie, Joseph, Mary, Joshua, and a few others) and they remembered me!
After a while It was time for me to go with Stephie to get ready for crafts. 1st rotation I sent the Heather and the 3rd grade girls to the Andrew Small Room to do their craft, while Cat and the 1st and 2nd grade girls did their craft with me. It was so great because I knew almost all the girls in Cat's group, and they are just an awesome group of girls! Then I had the 4th grade boys with Josh, and they were kinda annoying, but they're boys so its not their fault, lol. Then I had the Pre-K with Lydia, and that was fun too.
Then I got to go meet Bianca and she told me about what i needed to do. I was gonna help tell the counselors where they needed to go. I got to carry the lists around, and I felt important, lol. On the bus, i led the group in all of the songs I could think of (Princess Pat, Button Factory, Bubble Gum, Hermie the Worm, Everywhere we Go, and a few others I think). It was fun! Funny Moment: Jenna was singing really loudly and said it hurt her throat, so we got her water bottle out to get a drink., and said "all this singing is driving me to drink." LOL. Then the other bus started smoking, so we had to pull over for a few minutes. It was fixed in like 3 minutes, and I told a story until we got there.
We went duck pin bowling, and it was crazy busy for me and Bianca, but I still had a good time.
Then it was time to go home, and I chilled on the bus ride back, and hten we had afternoon assembly, and that was it.
PS- can you tell I was getting tired towards the end of this, as it got shorter and shorter. LOL. Now off to watch Camp Rock! YAY!
